Midland Roundtable
Cline Wolfberry Wolfcamp Leonard/Avalon/Bone Spring/Delaware Spraberry Wolffork
The primary focus of this roundtable is to share the practices & technologies that are optimal for increasing efficiencies & improving profits in the Cline Wolfberry Wolfcamp Leonard / Avalon / Bone Spring / Delaware Spraberry Wolffork Plays.
Last year we heard presentations covering "Multi-Stage Completions Technologies" "Down Below the Wolfcamp - Making a Living in the Cline" "Proactive Safety Makes Money" "Intelligent Completion Design" "Financing Deals in the Permian" "Barriers to stimulation success" "Dissolving Ball Technology & the Permian" "Determining Where & How to Frac in the various Permian plays" and more.
We will provide an update on thinking for 2014 and we will look at the small, incremental changes that make these plays commercial.
Experience is showing what works & what does not. Some areas of the plays are richer in total organic carbon. Some are chock full of carbonates, which makes them amenable to hydraulic fracturing. Some sections of the plays are good combo plays, others not. Certain D&C and G&G technologies & processes are proving to increase the play's profitability more than others.
Many of these areas have been developed for decades. Now with new technologies & processes applied the Cline Wolfberry Wolfcamp Leonard / Avalon / Bone Spring / Delaware Spraberry Wolffork Plays have plenty to offer & although activity has grown rapidly operators are still coming to grips with the technical & in some cases, social/political complexities. Engineers, Geologists, & Geophysicist are intently studying these plays.
